We are a team of animators, writers, educational researchers, game developers, artists and teachers, brought together by a passion for education.
Co-founder Valerie Mih has worked in animated film/TV and games for the past twenty years, in a variety of roles including Producer, Director, Series Creator, Writer, Songwriter and Animator. Her first job was animating for the Pixar films “A Bug’s Life,” “Toy Story 2,” and “Geri’s Game.” Her original work includes animated shorts for PBS, a half-hour animated documentary about Einstein (awarded Best Animation, International Festival of Cinema and Technology) and a series of award-winning animated children's book apps. In 2015, she co-created the educational preschool animated series “Treetop Family” for Toronto-based Skyship Entertainment and served as lead Writer/Songwriter for the 16 episode series “Treetop Family” screened at the LA International Children’s Film Festival, Comic-Con San Diego and the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival, and has been viewed over 16 million times on Youtube.
Co-founder Glenn Kim has been a professional Art Director and Animation Designer for over twenty years. He served as an artist at Pixar Animation Studios for 14 years, designing environments, characters, layouts and shaders for the films “A Bug’s Life,” “Toy Story 2,” “Monsters Inc,” “Finding Nemo,” “The Incredibles,” “Cars,” “WALL-E,” “Toy Story 3,” and “Cars 2.” He has Art Directed at leading game companies Zynga and FunPlus, creating the look and feel for top-ranked interactive products.
